Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Favpost. For privacy-related matters, please also review thePrivacy Policy.
1. Application
These Terms of Service set out the conditions for using Favpost (the Service). By viewing, posting to, sharing, or otherwise using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
The Service is operated by x.com/@ro1dev. Notices, infringement reports, illegal or inappropriate content reports, and other communications should generally be sent by X direct message or by another method designated by the operator.
2. Nature of the Service
The Service is a tool that lets users manually register URLs of public X posts and organize them into public shareable items, child items, tags, and tree structures. The Service is not an official service of X Corp. or any third party, and does not imply affiliation, endorsement, approval, or warranty.
Items, tags, registered URLs, hierarchy information, and other information posted to the Service are public by default. Users must not post confidential information, personal information, trade secrets, or information they do not have the right to disclose.
The Service does not use the X API. It stores and displays information only to the extent obtainable from public embedding functions and related public sources. Original X posts, embeds, external links, third-party service specifications, availability, and displayed content are outside the operator's control.
3. User Content and Rights
Users represent and warrant that they have all rights, authority, and consents necessary for information they post, register, or transmit to the Service.
Users grant the operator a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use posted information to the extent necessary to provide, maintain, display, reproduce, store, distribute, share, technically transform, improve, protect rights in, and respond to violations involving the Service.
The Service may not provide a user-facing deletion function. The operator may hide, delete, restrict access to, or otherwise act on posted information without prior notice if the operator determines that legal violations, rights infringements, Terms violations, operational needs, or other circumstances require it.
4. Prohibited Conduct
Users must not engage in illegal or publicly offensive conduct, infringe third-party rights or interests, impersonate others, spam, post excessively, scrape, reverse engineer, access the Service without authorization, bypass security functions, or interfere with operation of the Service.
Users must not post or share discrimination, threats, defamation, harassment, sexual exploitation, inappropriate information involving minors, encouragement of illegal conduct, malware, fraud, phishing, or any other information the operator deems inappropriate.
Users must not use the Service in a manner that violates third-party service terms, X terms, advertising platform policies, or applicable law.
5. No Warranty
The Service is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator makes no express or implied warranties, including as to accuracy, completeness, timeliness, usefulness, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, continuity, availability, security, absence of errors or defects, retention of data, or non-infringement.
Users are responsible for verifying and using any display, post, external link, X post, embed, tag, hierarchy, search or sharing result, OGP information, or other information on the Service at their own risk.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any damage arising from or related to use or inability to use the Service, posted information, third-party services, external links, data loss, display defects, specification changes, suspension, interruption, termination, security issues, or disputes among users or with third parties.
Even if the operator is liable, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, liability is limited to direct and ordinary damages, and excludes lost profits, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, data-loss, and business-opportunity damages.
If a user violates these Terms or causes a dispute with a third party, the user must resolve it at their own cost and responsibility and must not cause damage, expenses, claims, or burdens to the operator.
7. Changes, Suspension, and Termination
The operator may change, suspend, interrupt, or terminate all or part of the Service, including its content, specifications, displays, retention periods, functions, public scope, and operational policies, at any time without prior notice.
In the future, the Service may add or change displays, explanations, functions, advertising, analytics, consent mechanisms, and policies for languages other than Japanese, English-speaking users, and other regions.
8. Changes to These Terms
The operator may change these Terms as necessary. Revised Terms take effect when posted on the Service or at another time designated by the operator.
If a user continues to use the Service after the Terms are changed, the user is deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and matters relating to the Service are governed by the laws of Japan. To the extent permitted by law, the Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance over disputes relating to the Service.
Even if the Service is made available in multiple languages, the Japanese version controls unless otherwise expressly specified.
